Elizabethtown Latin School, Inc.’s application for tax-exempt status is currently in process.  While our organization’s application is waiting for processing by the IRS, we may operate as a tax-exempt organization.  Although donors to Elizabethtown Latin School, Inc. have no assurance that their contributions to the school are tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes until the school’s application is approved, contributions made while an application is pending would qualify if the application is approved.  However, if the school’s application is disallowed, contributions would not qualify.  The directors have full confidence that the IRS will approve Elizabethtown Latin School, Inc.’s application for tax-exempt status.
